Energy efficient frame technology

Our Spartan Modern frames are fabricated using the very latest technology from Eurocell’s Modus Slim Sash frame profiles. Dual material extrusion technology enables a 100% recycled uPVC chambered interior to be extruded within a 100% virgin uPVC exterior. The result: one of the most energy efficient frames on the market that’s sustainable, strong and lightweight too.

Spartan Modern windows, with triple seal options, exceed even Passivhaus standards with A++ energy ratings achievable and U-values as low as 0.7 with triple glazing and 1.1 with double glazing.

Security Locks, hinges and handles

Premium style deserves premium fittings and that we offer high-quality locks, handles and hinges on our Spartan Modern range.

Locks and handles

Every Spartan Modern uPVC window comes with a MACO M-SPAG lock. BS7950 assured and Secured By Design accredited, they offer a high level of security. Steel multipoint key operated technology features four roller cams and two shoot bolts to ensure a strong connection to the frame.

The MACO M-SPAG lock contains a telescopic espagnolette for straightforward fitting and replacement and the universal handed nature means that you only need to stock one version.

We offer four different colour options for our Spartan Modern window handles to match every frame colour: white, black, chrome and gold. Carefully matched to the slim frame profile, this handle compliments the frame completely.

Window hinges

We only provide the best NICO hinges with our Spartan Modern range, available in a range of colours to match the external window hardware.

We offer three main styles of hinge including:

Standard casement style with top and side hung options.
Fire egress – with complete opening to 90 degrees and compliant with Building Regulations for fire escape and emergency access.
Child safety – with easy open to 10mm and a discreet two-hand operated function to allow full opening.

Our hinge range is tested to 30,000 cycles and BBA approved and comes complete with heavy duty hinge protectors to give that extra peace of mind to homeowners.

Glazing options

Our entire Spartan Window range comes with a whole host of glazing options so that you can offer the maximum choice to your customer including:

Bevelled glass
Frosted panes
Stained colour options
Decorative leading
A range of UV coatings to improve energy efficiency ratings even further
Georgian bars

We offer the choice of 28mm double glazing and 44mm triple glazing with the Spartan Modern range.

All Spartan Windows are manufactured in accordance with BS7412 and are Secured By Design accredited, so you can be sure of a high-quality window that is built to last.
