Door Security
Security is one of the most important factors for your customers when they are choosing new exterior doors.
They want to be reassured that their door will protect their home against would-be intruders and they expect that the most advanced security technology is used. Of course, it’s not just about the locks. Handles, hinges and frames all need to create an effective barrier. We’ve considered all of this in designing the Spartan range of doors.
Every complete door, lock and handle are Secured By Design accredited so you can be sure that you’re offering the best security to your customers.
Locks
We offer a range of locks for our exterior door range, depending on the style of door and its use. If you have any questions about specific locks or compatibility, contact us.
The paddock multi-point lock is provided as standard for our uPVC front and back doors, bifold doors and French doors. The lock features:
- 2 shoot bolts to fix the door into the frame
- 3 hooks latching up and down to prevent the door being lifted out of the frame
- 4 rollers to press the door into the seal and fit over the hooks
- 2 deadbolts
- Secure attachment to the handle
As with all of our lock range, the Paddock lock is Secured By Design accredited.
Handles
We offer a wide variety of door handles that can be interchanged across door styles, providing a range of colours to offer your customers safety with style.
Available as standard with our uPVC front and back doors, bifold and French door range. This lever handle provides a whole host of security features, both as visible deterrents and hidden patented features:
As well as the security benefits the Mila Pro-secure provides a stylish and smooth operating function.
It is available in 6 different colours:
- Steel reinforced handle with jemmy resistance and a chamfered backplate to prevent handle snapping.
- Integrated guard encasing the cylinder to prevent cylinder snapping.
- Anti-plug disc shielding the cylinder to prevent cylinder de-plugging.
- Anti-drill spin discs to prevent cylinder drilling.
And accreditations include:
- BSEN1906: grade 4 testing to 200,000 cycles
- Compliance to security performance standard TS007:2012 – awarded a 2-star Kitemark
